Hi guys,
I’m running WordPress Multisite with BuddyPress and the Ultimate Facebook Plugin. I use Facebook Connect to create user accounts, but the only data I need is name and email address. I don’t want to ask for more than I need in case it spooks my users.
However, Ultimate Facebook originally asked for a long list of unnecessary permissions. I’ve trimmed this down by editing Wdfb_Permissions, but I’m still left with the following:
Public profile
Friend list
Email address
I understand there’s nothing I can do about public profile and email address (these are, after all, the permissions I need!) but is it possible to prevent the plugin from also requesting the friend list? I don’t think I need this, but I couldn’t find a way in Wdfb_Permissions to disable this request.
