USPS Shipping not working on Marketpress

I have setup a shopping cart on a client site, http://videoplayground.net, Requested and received API username for USPS and entered it into the settings. Client sells services like converting VHS tapes to DVD. I added all the products and variations as physical products and not services so the plugin will calculate shipping and add it to the total. The shipping is prepay return shipping of my client’s customers’ original media. I added weight of everything, like the weight of a VHS tape to the product of Convert VHS to DVD. When I went to test everything, at #3 of the checkout process, Shipping Method, it says “There are no shipping services available for this type of package in your location.” USPS is listed there, but it cannot be selected. I noticed when entering my shipping info as a customer, zip code text above input is replaced with 60655, client’s base zip code, but, I was able to enter my zip code as the ship to zip.

    I noticed when entering my shipping info as a customer, zip code text above input is replaced with 60655, client's base zip code, but, I was able to enter my zip code as the ship to zip.

    Can you check if in the General Settings of Store Settings zip code is not inserted in field "Zip/Postal Code Label"? If yes, remove it from there and insert only "Zip Code"

    Hello hairewarez,

    Zip Code change was only to fix form – USPS issue is different one.

    I tested similar settings (you have on your site) on my lab site and shipping is showing correctly there

    So it doesn't look like a bug. Please run a quick plugin/theme conflict test as illustrated in getting support manual (flowchart). Let me know how it goes.

    I am going to mark this as resolved. The USPS shipping calculations never did work. I was able to just pick a flat rate for shipping and that works. I will post here if I figure out why the USPS calculations do not work. It could be the theme. The theme is supposed to work with Woo commerce but that plugin kept changing the products to posts when I saved them, so, the theme might be bad for any shopping cart. But Marketpress is working great other than the USPS thing.

    Also, nothing will add to cart when I have WP Hummingbird activated. Oh well, it’s all working good enough for what it needs to do.
