Vimeo Background Video Play Button

Hello,

We have a video background but the play button keeps appearing. I have looked at the vimeo video forums and applied all the settings in the vimeo video settings to strip out any and all branding.

I came across a post in their forum where adding a ?background=1 to the end of the vimeo video url will turn the video into a background and remove the play and pause button.

How can I have a vimeo video background without the play and pause button showing?

FYI this is only for the home page as this is the only page that utilizes a background video.

    Can't you leverage background region option for video ?

    [attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

    I just tried with background option for video background and it worked like charm for me. Can you do the same for test please ? Just edit your background and chose background type as video and enter your vimeo video url in the input saying video url. Save change and test.

    Hi there, that is what my settings look like. My issue is the play button that keeps popping up over the background when it first loads as well as when the cursor hovers over the part of the video that should have the play back timeline and options.
