I have a client site that was using W3 Total Cache for speed improvements. With this plugin I was able to get a G Metric page speed score of B.
I thought I would give Hummingbird a try but can’t get the score above a C rating.
I’ve tried all the settings bar the advanced asset optimization (i’m a bit nervous to try it) and am using Smush and the CDN provided by WPMU.
I’m also putting the site through CloudFlare to see if that helps.
Does anyone have any good tips for speeding up the site? Seems odd that I can’t at least get it back to a B rating using Hummingbird.
