Why isn't the Membership plugin sending out all of the emails I set up?

I have two emails set up in the communication section of the membership plugin. One is for when the user first registers and they’re pending approval, and the other is for when they are approved. The first email isn’t sending out, but the second email is. The only “solutions” I’ve come across are upgrading (which I’ve done, and it’s still not working) and one solution saying to download an interim fix, but the link was broken, so I couldn’t download it.

    Sorry to hear of the issues your having, In membership, all members should be active upon account registration and not pending.

    Or by pending, do you mean when they have abandoned the registration process?

    Hi Jack.

    There is another plugin on this site to be able to approve a user, so when they register, the admin will approve them and switch their membership level to be able to access the content on the site based off of their level.

    Upon registering, the user is automatically assigned the lowest level from the membership plugin, and that’s when the first email is supposed to be sent out – it’s kinda like a confirmation email for their registration, but letting them know that they’re still pending approval from the admin to access the rest of the content. Once the admin changes them to a higher level of access, the second email goes out that says they’ve been approved.

    Hopefully, that makes sense! Also, this was working at one point. Not sure what’s changed since then.

    That makes perfect sense, interesting that it was working at one point, can you confirm if it stopped working say after a plugin update or something else?

    Perhaps say if you had an old version, there’s been lots of changes with the latest versions which may have effected it.

    Hi @konceptdesign,

    Looks like it is known bug and already fixed. Please, delete current version of the plugin and install the latest beta, which you can find here. Don’t worry, you won’t lose your settings and members if you delete the plugin.

    Let me know if the latest beta resolves your issue.
