WooCommerce lost password option is not working with the mapped domain.

On our multisite environment we are having an issue where people cannot recover the password, when entering email it refreshes the screen and when us trying to log out it says it does, but then auto logs us in, just require some urgent help if possible. https://lighte*****ceuk.com/my-account/lost-password/ – you can try an account with email 3@dhfusion.co.uk as this is a test account we set up to try and fix the issue.

i think we have solved our issue.

We decided to recreate a new site, manually transfer everything across instead of using the Cloner plugin by wpmu and then delete the domain mapping from original domain and activated into new site that was created and forgot password works and also logging out etc. no reported issues so far but will know more in the morning when actual customer try.

      Hey there theone-deano ,

appreciate the feedback here and most importantly that you were able to sort this out.

So this is working in a new subsite in the same multisite, am I getting this right?

And the only difference is that you didn’t use Cloner in the first place?

I’m wondering about it, as I was also able to replicate and I’d like to better inform our developers.

I also realised that the access credentials you shared with us during live chat have been changed now, would you mind re-granting those so I can have a better inspection of your setup?

As this is public forum, you should send us your details through our safe contact form https://wpmudev.com/contact/#i-have-a-different-question using this template:

      – cPanel/Plesk credentials (host/username/password)

      – link back to this thread for reference

      – any other relevant urls

    Hello theone-deano

    Hope you’re doing well!

I’ve tested the Domain Mapping plugin along with Woocomerce and could not reproduce this issue on my end. A password reset email was sent a password successfully was reset. I’ve checked the credentials you’ve shared with us, would you please assign administrator capabilities to the user account you’ve created for us? Currently, it has a Subscriber user role.

Support Access is unfortunately closed for us as well. Please revoke it and re-grant it again.

Also, please see of password reset is working with all plugins deactivated except WooCommerce and Domain Mapping plugin? If the issue still persists, please switch to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Seventeen for example and try to reset the password again.

If all is well, please start activating one plugin at the time, every time testing password reset.

Let us know how it went!

    Kind regards,

    Nastia

okay after starting fresh on our multi site network completely (it did kind of need renewing anyway) we found the issue with not been able to recover password or login or logout.

It is too with the Paypal Express Checkout plugin by woocommerce (https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-express-checkout/) we had this enabled on the previous site and same for the new site, yes we did disable and remove from the original site but still had the problem so we think some old data stuck somewhere.

On the new site it was enabled and we had the same issue so we quickly disabled all plugins and enabled one by one and then found this to be the problem plugin, but this time when disabled and deleted the problem did go away.

hope that makes sense and we appreciate everyone that has helped.
