WPMU DEV Dashboard not connected

I tried to install WPMU DEV Dashboard on my site and an error came out (screen shot attached). And the respond I get from my hosting company support: "Currently there is nothing obstructing the outgoing connections for your account . Please specify the exact PHP settings you need to run your site so we may check if everything is in place.[attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]" Could somebody help me out? Thank you so much for the help.

    Hi Suhartono,

    Hope you are doing good today. :slight_smile:

    Did you confirm with your host whether your server have CURL module activated, or “fsockopen” support?. If yes, could you please try disabling other plugins, and check whether you are able to connect.

    Please let us know how that goes, so that we could give a closer look. Have a nice day. :slight_smile:

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin

    Please specify the exact PHP settings you need to run your site so we may check if everything is in place.”

    Hi Suhartono,

    Hope you are doing good today. :slight_smile:

    It’s a rare error since you did confirm about curl being active, I do see you have other websites registered through the WPMU DEV dashboard plugin, are they running on the same server? Could you please share your webserver and PHP version you are using.

    Could you please try resetting your API Key, and check whether your are able to login, you’ll find the reset but at the bottom page of this link: https://wpmudev.com/hub/account/

    If that didn’t work, could you please try adding the following lines to your wp-config.php file, and check whether it works:

    define( 'WPMUDEV_CUSTOM_API_SERVER', 'https://wpmudev.com/' );
    define( 'WPMUDEV_APIKEY', 'YOUR-API-KEY');

    Please make sure to add these before the line /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */.

    Please let us know how that goes. Have a nice weekend. :slight_smile:

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin

    Hello Suhartono,

    Can you tell us who is your new hosting provider?

    Https is not the problem – WPMU DEV plugin can be used on https sites.

    So, from your window you did see I still runnind on the old server. Could you remove it from your side?

    We see sites where you installed WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin and login in with your WPMU DEV account credentials. There are few sites registered on your account and we would rather avoid removing them (they should be removed after you logout from WPMU DEV Dash plugin on site).

    If the Dashboard is installed, can you access the WPMU DEV > Support > System Info and see what, if anything, shows at the bottom of the screen where you see:

    WPMU DEV: GET
    WPMU DEV: POST
    PayPal API: POST

    Actually, a screenshot of that whole page would be very helpful.

    kind regards,

    Kasia
