Yesterday I mentioned that the WordPress Chat plugin had a conflit with a plugin I used for a slider (Promotion Slider).

Today I noticed another conflict, this time with the Membership Plugin.

When the WP Chat plugin is activated the Popup Registration Form doesn’t work. It breaks the theme generating only the text form with no CSS formatting at all, no popup window, all flushed to the left.

I have upgraded to latest version.

Thanks,

Joe Moya

    @Joe,

    On that other thread a support person asked you for specifics about the Promotion Slider. Just giving the name really doesn’t help because a google search for just that name may turn up dozens is similarly named plugins. If you can provide the specific URL on that other thread it would be appreciated

    Here is a link to your previous thread. https://wpmudev.com/forums/topic/conflict-with-promotion-slider

    As for your new thread can you provide any details where I can view this conflict and possible advise a solution. You have not provide screenshots of the issue or even a link so really we can just expect that we can reproduce this under a development environment.

    Regardless, there is always a chance the plugin will conflict with some other plugin. There is no universal guarantee. This is why within the Chat settings you can exclude chat from loading on certain admin and/or frontend pages.

    Hey Paul.

    OK. I deactivated and reactivated it a couple of times. As of now, the Popup Registration Form seems to be working just fine. I have not fully configured the chat but it is activated.

    Please disregard the conflict since I am not currently experiencing it. I will re-post if it reoccurs.

    Thanks,

    Joe
