In this case, the comparison ended up all in the favor of WPMU DEV; with parallel client numbers more than doubling that of WP Engine. TTFB Average (Geo-optimized) was also highly in favor of DEV.
The average TTFB across all 10 testing locations was much more competitive, but overall WPMU DEV clearly came out on top in this performance test.
