We’re improving the Image Resize Detection experience by introducing an auto-fix option that makes identifying and resolving image sizing issues much easier. Additionally, we’re integrating Smush actions directly into the Media Library’s edit screen, enabling users to optimize and manage images without ever leaving their standard WordPress workflow.

Faster setup, fewer steps! To reduce setup friction, the CDN is now fully independent from Asset Optimization, letting you enable it whenever you need it. We’re also improving the caching experience to make asset optimization easier and more intuitive.

Defender gets sharper and more advanced. We’re rolling out powerful JS File Scanning to catch malicious scripts early, along with a cleaner, more intuitive Malware Scanning UI for a smoother workflow. We’re also enhancing detection accuracy with improved Yara Rules, helping you uncover threats with even greater precision. And as always, a fresh round of bug fixes keeps everything running smoothly.
